Virtual Training option via Zoom
pERSONAL TRAINING:
One-on-One:
In-person or virtual option
This is the true meaning of “personal training”. Whether your goal is to get stronger, speed up your metabolism, lose weight or inches, improve sports performance or just improve your overall health, these sessions will help you reach your goals. One-on-One sessions are offered in 30 or 50-minute increments, and the sessions are tailored to meet the needs and goals of each client. AND these sessions are also offered virtually on Zoom where clients are provided with a private link for weekly sessions (basic dumbbells needed at home for virtual clients). All one-on-one clients will provide basic health background information, and then their physical fitness level will be evaluated during their first session. These fun, results-oriented workouts combine weight/resistance training, cardiovascular exercises, core training, and functional fitness. And these sessions will help to increase lean muscle mass, decrease bodyfat, improve balance, stability, and flexibilty — and best of all, you will be working towards optimal health. We use a nice variety of equipment including dumbbells, resistance bands, medicine balls, slam balls, weighted ropes, inertia wave ropes, Bosu balls, plyo-boxes, slide boards, balance equipment, foam rollers and more! And if you are an elite athlete, your training sessions can be outlined to meet your sports specific goals. If you lack motivation or just need guidance, look no further . . . that’s what we’re here for!
Please call for pricing and available time slots. Please note: In order to avoid charges, we require a 24-hour cancellation policy for all personal training, partner training, and nutrition appointments. This allows us the opportunity to offer the time slot to someone on our waiting list. Thank you
PARTNER TRAINING:
Partner Training is offered in 30-minute or 50-minute sessions and is a great way for spouses or friends to train together. You gain the benefits of a trainer and you can share the cost with your partner. These sessions are outlined to meet the needs and goals of each person, and we’ll keep you accountable to your fitness plan. As with one-on-one sessions, clients will provide basic health background information, and then their physical fitness level will be evaluated during their first session. ELITE ATHLETE TRAINING:
Elite Athlete Training can be scheduled as a one-on-one or partner style with a team mate or friend and is offered in 30 or 50-minute sessions. The philosophy behind this type of training is geared towards helping athletes increase their strength while improving their speed and agility skills through a variety of drills, functional exercises, weighted drills, explosive exercises and instruction on proper technique. An athlete can’t be fast if their mid-section (CORE) is not strong – and the flexibility of their hips also has a huge impact on their ability to change direction. As you know, our bodies were designed to move forward – so running in a linear fashion is certainly easier and more natural than moving laterally (side-to-side). However, most sports require lateral speed – and one of the biggest challenges for athletes is their ability to change direction quickly.
As mentioned above, this training also helps young athletes to increase their STRENGTH and overall conditioning of their bodies. Athletes are introduced to age-appropriate weight training which provides a great foundation so they understand proper form and can gradually increase their weights as older. Kids, teens and young adults are taught proper form for weight training -- in addition they gain a better understanding that it is ok to “push” their bodies a little harder during training in order to increase lean muscle mass. An athlete needs strength in their upper body, CORE, and legs/glutes in order to have better control of their bodies – better performance. Therefore, the athletes who participate in this type of training will build strength (full body) in addition to conditioning their joints and ligaments that are in desperate need of attention. Weighted and functional exercises are performed during training using cutting-edge equipment so major muscles are worked – and the connective tissue is strengthened to provide additional support. This type of training not only helps to increase strength, but it also reduces an athlete’s risk of injury -- and improves their balance, coordination, speed and CONFIDENCE! This training will get them ready for anything -- so they are ahead of their competition. It’s a great way to cross-train during their sports season or to develop skill in the off-season.
SPORTS NUTRITION SESSIONS can also be included as an additional service to make sure the athlete’s daily nutrition matches their athletic goals. See more info and details listed under the “Nutrition” page shown on the home page.
